The dissertation case is devoted to studying the transformation of business processes of large vertically integrated fuel and energy companies under the influence of internal and external factors. As an object of research in the work, I was chose the company Saudi Aramco. In the first part of the work prerequisites for the transformation of the company were considered, in particular, the national program Saudi Vision 2030 and government decrees on the need to privatize part of the company's assets through stock exchanges. Then a strategic analysis of the external and internal factors of the company was carried out in order to determine the state of the environment of the company, to identify its bottlenecks and opportunities.   At the next stage of work, an assessment was made of the company's paradigm shift towards expanding petrochemical production volumes under the influence of the factor of unstable crude oil prices in the world market. Next, the possibilities of implementing digital solutions in various operations of the company were considered taking into account the results of strategic analysis, as well as the world experience in implementing such solutions and the compatibility of these solutions with Saudi Aramco practice were evaluated. The dissertation also attempted to assess the effect of the sale of a 5% stake in Saudi Aramco, both for the company itself, its financial performance, and for investors, and also raised the issue of the possible impact of an IPO on the company's position in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries.
