Development Strategy of the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis AS a Digital University

The Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis is actively introducing distance technologies into the educational process through its own online platform ‘InStudy’. The institute has embarked on the path of digitalization, which requires the transformation of its activities, structure, management system and communications. The aim of this work is to elaborate a development strategy for the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis as a digital university. The development idea is based on the project idea of the vision of the future institute. The research uses the methodology of the developing an organization’s strategy based on the work “Strategic management. The Concepts" by G.N. Konstantinov. The methodology includes a set of analytical works aimed at highlighting the challenges of digital transformation of education, systemic problems of the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis, its competitive environment, resources, risks and possible development scenarios; projecting works: conducting strategic planning sessions with managerial personnel of the institute and with representatives of the expert community on the vision of the future of the institute, generating alternatives for the vision, choosing a project idea; development of final documents: vision of the future, business model, development program in the form of a project proposal. The result of the research was the elaborated draft of the development strategy of the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis as a digital university.
