Russia on the Threshold of 1917 in Lyrics and Prose: Bunin and Akhmatova

This work is the contextual analysis of three Russian texts connected to the beginning of the XX century. I. Bunin`s “Pure Monday”, A. Akhmatova`s “Northern Elegies” and “A Poem without a Hero” are considered as epilogues of the time and are explored as literary works containing the conception of the Silver Age`s epoch.
