Model for Assessment of Factors Affecting the Lending Rate of Corporate Borrowers

The relevance of the presented work is determined by questions rational formation of lending rates in the Russian Federation. The purpose of the presented work is to study macroeconomic and microeconomic factors affecting formation of a lending rate for a corporate borrower at an example of the 30 largest banks of the Russian Federation, as well as such banks like Sberbank and Alfa Bank. To achieve the goal of the study is necessary to study the factors affecting the formation of lending rates for corporate borrower, study the interest rate market in Russia and to study lending rates on the example of real banks. In the work were studied and used the work of several authors with similar topics research. Data was also collected and analyzed, put forward hypotheses and summed up. The main tool of econometrics Research serves as an econometric model, namely the economic mathematical model of factor analysis, the parameters of which estimated by means of mathematical statistics. This study includes building a regression model. Among all studied macroeconomic factors, the most relevant were factors like key rate, inflation, interbank market rate MIACR and the dollar. It is these indicators in the best way explain changes in corporate borrower lending rates of 30 the largest banks in Russia. Considering microeconomic factors, the study showed that the most relevant factors were as the level of interest rates on deposits, the level of net interest credit organization margins and relative reserve for possible losses on loans. It is these indicators that best explain changes in the lending rate of a corporate borrower.
