The theme of the master's thesis: «Goals and Methods of Economic and Political Competition: Main Differences». The purpose of this research is conducting a comprehensive theoretical study of political competition in conjunction with competition in the field of economy, as well as a comparative analysis of constitutional aspects of distinction between political and economic competition. The relevance of the theme settles the insufficient effectiveness of measures of implementation and protection of the political competition in the Russian Federation which is connected with the lack of deep theoretical development of this issue, as well as the actual conditions of the Russian political system. An important part of the research is determining the admissibility of implementation of the legal mechanisms similar to economic competition for the purposes of protection of political competition. Also the research attempted to determine the possibility of considering any subject as a “regulator of political competition” by analogy with the antimonopoly authority in the economic sphere.
