Intellectual Property Protection in the Fashion Industry

This final qualification work is devoted to the analysis of existing legislation that affects legal regulation in the fashion industry. Methods of protecting intellectual property in the fashion industry are analyzed, such as registering a trademark, obtaining a patent for an industrial design, registering an object of copyright and the secret of production or know-how. The work provides examples from domestic and foreign practice regarding the protection of intellectual property. The issue of counterfeit products in the Russian Federation and in other countries is being investigated.Based on the current legal regulation, legislative improvements have been proposed that will contribute to the development of law in the fashion industry in Russia.
