The Settlement Agreement Binding Several Disputes: Legal Issues

The current research questions the permissibility and practicability of concluding a settlement agreement, which eliminates several disputes in different hearings. The author thinks it is necessary to allow such settlement agreement due to the fact that it will benefit of civil life, serve the procedural economy and satisfy the purpose of proceedings – the reconciliation of the parties. The research work raises such controversial issues as the limits of the principle of party disposition in determining the terms of a settlement agreement and the court’s execution of a settlement agreement which was legitimized by another court.
