Joint Testament of Spouses in the Russian Federation

Work theme: “Joint testament of spouses in the Russian Federation”. The volume of the presented work is 38 pages, it contains 29 sources used and 1 appendix. Key words: joint testament of spouses, testamentary succession. In this work, the author analyzes the problems of civil regulation of joint wills of spouses according to the legislation of the Russian Federation and, on the basis of the knowledge gained, suggests ways to improve legislation in the field of its legal regulation. The introduction highlights: relevance, purpose and objectives of the work. The first chapter reveals the concept of “joint testament of spouses” in relation to Russian law and explores the legal nature of this institution. The second chapter examines the problems of legal regulation during the cancellation and contestation of a joint will of spouses in the Russian Federation, defines the features of the inheritors to obtain a mandatory share of the inheritance in the presence of a joint will of the spouses, and also studies the procedure for transferring rights to other property after the death of the first spouse. In conclusion, the author's conclusions on the problems presented are presented.
