Loss of Chance Doctrine. Foreign Practice and Application in Russian Law

This research is devoted to such an institution of civil liability as a loss of chance, widespread in foreign law systems. The objectives of the research are to analyze the widespread practice of this institution, identify its main principles and determine whether the application of this institution is possible in Russian law system. During the research, a large amount of practice was analyzed, the key principles of the institution of loss of chance were established, and proposals were put forward for the implementation of this institution in the legal system of the Russian Federation
