Domino Effect Management in Supply Chains

The title of the topic of the master's thesis: "Management of the" domino effect "in the supply chain. Key words: logistic network, domino effect, risks in supply chains, critical risks, catastrophic risks, whip effect. The purpose of the work is to develop proposals for improving the critical and catastrophic risk management system in the supply chain. The first chapter discusses theoretical considerations regarding the effect of the “domino effect” on the effectiveness of the entire supply chain. Proposals have also been developed to clarify the definition and typology of the “domino effect” in supply chains. The second chapter is devoted to the methodological aspects of managing the “domino effect” in supply chains: an analysis of the implementation of the critical and catastrophic risk management cycle is carried out, as well as methods for their management are analyzed. A control system for the “domino effect” in supply chains has been developed. The third chapter analyzes the management of critical and catastrophic risks using the example of Osram LLC. The assessment of maturity of risk management at the enterprise is determined; proposals were developed to improve the critical and catastrophic risk management system. The effectiveness of the proposed solutions is justified using the DuPont model.
