1. The title of the topic of the master's thesis “Improving Procurement Management at a Retail Company” 2. Undergraduate Beletskiy Maxim Alexandrovich, MLG 141, School of Logistics, Faculty of Business and Management, HSE. 3. Supervisor Gerami Victoria Darabovna, Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof., Head. Department of Logistics Infrastructure Management. 4. Keywords: procurement, sales forecasting method, lost sales, determination of order size. The issue under study is that for retail enterprises engaged in perishable goods, the management of procurement involves a number of problems. Firstly, we need high forecasting accuracy in order to avoid write-offs, spoiled products, and do not forget about possible lost sales. Secondly, companies must choose the optimal order size to optimize the balance of shortages of products and illiquid goods due to expired shelf life. The dissertation proposes an improved model of ABC-XYZ analysis for retail trade with perishable goods and pronounced seasonality of sales, and recommendations for each group on forecasting methods are given. A mathematical optimization model based on a modified model for determining the size of an order for batch multi-item deliveries is proposed, which will reduce the write-off of products and lost sales. 5. The volume of the master's thesis: p. - 76, figures - 16, tables - 17, list of literary sources - 31
