The Improvement of Internal Logistics Using the Principles of Lean Production

The Airbus manufacturing company is one of the world’s leading civil aviation manufacturers with production sites throughout Europe, as well as in North America and China. At the moment, the company produces more than 1000 aircraft of various segments annually, which makes the production logistics factor in the company one of the most important for the business to be profitable. Taking into account all of the above factors, several problems were identified in the internal production logistics. In this work, an attempt will be made to make several proposals for improving internal production logistics, and measures will be taken to introduce them, which will ultimately lead to higher economic efficiency of production and the entire company Airbus.
