Improvement of Demand Management Process by Implementing Forecasting Models and Tools

The purpose of this work is to analyze the functioning of the logistics system and the demand forecasting system of Metro Cash & Carry LLC and suggest options for improving them. The work contains a study of the relationship between the process of demand forecasting in the period of promotional activities and the procedure for preparing and placing orders to maintain inventory at an optimal level in this period. A variant of the demand forecasting system was developed, which can reduce the number of deliveries of goods to stores and allow additional savings due to cheaper purchases.
