Organizational and Technological Aspects of Improving the Supply System of a Diamond Mining Company

In this dissertation was made an analysis of the state of the supply system of a Russian diamond mining company; the shortcomings of planning and inventory management were identified; a conceptual model of the end-to-end supply process has been formed; a procedure for transferring the enterprise supply system from the current to the desired target state has been developed; the requirements for the controlling system are theoretically substantiated and formed; step-by-step methodological recommendations on the formation of an effective system for controlling a diamond mining company in the context of interfacing with the supply cycle are proposed; were substantiated the requirements for supporting IT infrastructure and information technology based on the proposed target model and automation of the supply cycle; the proposed activities were tested at the company under study and their economic efficiency was proved.
