Reproduction of high-quality corporate knowledge in the current economic environment requires highly effective management technologies that provide companies competitive edges. Such an innovative technology is the concept of a self-learning organization. Today the phenomenon of the self-learning organization is not deeply studied, and there are few publications on this topic in Russia. This study aims to determine the qualitative properties of the self-learning organization and the features of the implementation and development of this model as a modern form of corporation in the knowledge economy. It is assumed that the successful construction of the self-learning organization is possible due to the formation of such a management system in which professional development is a permanent element of the employees' work. The combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods used in this paper. In the framework of an empirical study, a case analysis of the system of professional training and personnel development was carried out on the example of the Alcohol Siberian Group Ltd. Qualitative research is represented by in-depth interviews with specialists involved in the process of professional development of company employees. A quantitative study includes an analysis of the results of a mass survey of company employees occupying specialist level positions. Based on the results of the analysis, several measures have been proposed aimed at improving the training process and professional development of the personnel of the Alcohol Siberian Group Ltd. The application of the obtained results in the company’s activities will increase the interest of employees in their organizational role, which will accelerate the implementation of the self-learning organization model, and will also make possible more rational usage of intellectual assets and the effective realization of the enterprise’s labor potential.
