Multimedia Project "Coexistence of Human and Nature"

Student: Fomicheva Varvara

Supervisor: Igor Gurovich

Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Design (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2020

Due to the fact that ecology is becoming more and more important for mankind every year, the goal of the graduation study was to develop a multimedia project that would open up this topic in a new way. The project reflects on the relationship between the natural and the artificial, and tries to decide whether it makes sense to separate them. The study of the “coexistence of man and nature” reflects on the relationship of meaning and visuality, relying on both the theoretical work of modern philosophers and the latest trends in design and art. It is important to note that the project does not try to analyze all aspects of this topic, but only touches upon a small part. The theme of ecology in art is huge and the graduation project does not aim to fully break it down. The project primarily works with the visual component of the idea of coexistence. It is also important that the project does not claim to be considered innovative in terms of the ideological component. The study is the result of the analysis of the modern theoretical and practical context, the processing of existing ideas and the search for solutions suitable for implementation in a multimedia design graduation project.
