The topic of the environmental security is ubiquitous, but at the same time, its main problems are very invisible. This work is a study of climate change and the environment. Topical issues such as the impact of the global economy, technological development and many other factors on the state of the environment were taken into account. Moreover, the leading participant in this study was the United Nations, whose actions should have a positive effect on preventing environmental collapses. The study was built on a detailed investigation of the theoretical origin of environmental safety, its coexistence with other equally important components of our world. The leading organizations, conferences, UN summits were studied, with the help of which it is possible to identify the positive and negative aspects of the organization’s actions and analyze the effectiveness of decision-making. Moreover, this study is accompanied by values and numbers that reflect the real situation in recent times and compares this with the actions of the UN. I want to believe that this study will leave a small contribution to the development of the environment, and it, in turn, in a few years will feel the concern not only from organizations but also from each person.
