For the period from 2000 to 2019, Russian policy towards energy security had some validations. On the one hand, profitable relations with EU and export of the gas products, from the other side, variations of disruptions from transit partners, Ukraine, for example. Such events brought Russia to make decisions about building a new way of transportation – North Stream and further North Stream 2, as a measure of the decrease in possible threats. Besides different problems from this site, there are difficulties with partners, for example, Belarus. All events were responded with further outcomes for the state and its energy security, as well as for the partners and further energy cooperation. During the development of the energy market, relations with representatives of other markets and cultures, such as the Asian market, also developed. Whether it will become a replacement for the European orientation will become evident only after some time, but now it can be said that this market is not slightly worse, and in some aspects even better than the European one. The most crucial difference is the approach to energy security and ease of threat solutions.
