This thesis aims to investigate the specifics of the first three stages of independent web series production, namely development, pre-production and production. The analysis has revealed four key features as a whole which include aspects of organization of work and recruitment, aspects of functioning of the web series industry as such, aspects of team search, and aspects of the work process. The project part of the work is devoted to preparation of all the documents and materials necessary for the production of the pilot episode of web series "Pup".
