The tea ceremony is a unique phenomenon in oriental culture. It is part of rituals or one of the elements in spiritual practices. Since tea is endowed with healing properties, it helps a person not only physiologically, but also spiritually. Already in ancient times, people of the upper classes understood and appreciated the significance of tea, considering it to be part of their culture. A healing drink warms, restores clarity of thought, harmonizes body and spirit, sets up meditation, helps to unite people and improve their mutual understanding. That is why, besides the practice of tea drinking, a special procedure of the tea ceremony was formed.
