The graduate qualifying work is devoted to the topic of protecting the rights of socially vulnerable groups of people in the sphere of labor. Today, citizens of the Russian Federation can exercise the constitutional right to work in completely different forms. The state, in turn, seeks to ensure equality of labor, to establish equal opportunities for the comprehensive development of all citizens and to provide assistance to vulnerable groups in this area. Nevertheless, inequality in society inevitably arises, and the problem of protecting the rights of socially vulnerable groups of the population in the world of work remains relevant today. It is impossible to ignore the fact that so far it has not been possible to establish appropriate and favorable working conditions for such groups. Such a very negative situation entails a negative impact not only for working socially - vulnerable groups of the population, but also for society as a whole. The purpose of this study is based on a systematic study and synthesis of scientific literature on the relevant topic and regulatory framework to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the rights of socially unprotected groups of citizens in the world of work, while identifying important discussion issues. This work includes 85 pages of text and consists of an introduction, three main chapters, conclusion and bibliographic references. The first chapter contains three sections - one to define the concept of “differentiation”, the second section focuses on the factors of differentiation, and the third compares discriminatory norms with differentiation of legal regulation. The second chapter is devoted to the protection of the rights of certain groups of the population in the field of labor, and the next two sections reveal the rights of women in the field of labor and the labor rights of persons with family responsibilities. Finally, the third chapter covers the protection of the rights of persons under the age of majority in the first section, and the rights of persons with disabilities in the world of work in the second section. In conclusion, the main findings of the study are presented: Russian legislation regarding the protection of the rights of socially vulnerable groups of the population in the world of work cannot be called perfect. The legislator needs to make every effort to ensure the effectiveness of labor standards governing the rights of vulnerable groups. High efficiency and effectiveness of such norms ensures the legality of the state and its rule of law.
