Legal Status of Migrant Workers. Comparative Analysis

The problem of determining the legal status of migrant workers is of great importance in the Russian Federation. The main goals of this research are to analyze the theoretical aspects of the legal status of labor migrants in Russia and abroad, as well as to find ways to improve the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of labor migration based on a comparative analysis of the legal status of labor migrants in Russia and abroad. Issues of labor migration in the Russian Federation are not often considered in scientific papers. The paper deals with both theoretical and practical issues related to labor migration. The paper also suggests changes in the legislation of the Russian Federation that will eliminate a number of gaps in the legal status of labor migrants. The structure of the work is determined by the purpose and objectives of the research and includes an introduction to two chapters, combining seven paragraphs, conclusion and a list of sources and literature used. The introduction substantiates the relevance of the chosen topic, specifies the purpose and objectives of the study, the object and subject of the study, its theoretical and methodological foundations. The first Chapter discusses the General characteristics of the legal status of migrant workers. The second Chapter is devoted to a comparative analysis of the legal status of labor migrants in the Russian Federation and foreign legislation. In conclusion, the results of the study are summarized.
