Maslenitsa Festival Identity

Student: Kurbanniyazova Aurika

Supervisor: Arseniy V. Meshcheryakov

Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Communication Design (Master)

Final Grade: 7

Year of Graduation: 2020

The graduate work is divided into two structural parts: a visual study of the images of the Sun in culture from ancient times to the present day and branding of the New Festival of Russian Maslenitsa “Blin!” These two parts are interconnected, because the Maslenitsa’s culture is directly related to the images of the Sun. Creating historically reliable accurate branding is impossible without this study.
