Protectionist policy of Donald Trump prove the end of the American-centric unipolar era and a decrease of American influence in Asia. His trade war against China violates the basic liberal principles that were created by the Americans after the Second World War. At the same time China started to occupy a vacuum of the power in Asia. All of this threatens the interests of the faithful American ally - Japan. Because tensions in the South China Sea threaten the status quo and the principle of free navigation, on which the economy and national interests of Japan are significantly dependent. The Indo-Pacific Concept (Free and Open Indo-Pacific) is Tokyo's response to the systemic crisis of the American liberal world order. 3 pillars of the Indo-Pacific concept of Japan are based on the principles of liberalism. But Japan also pays great attention to the wary stance of the China and Russia regarding to the Indo-Pacific region. In addition to the Indo-Pacific concept in Asia, there are mega-projects such as "One Belt, One Road" of the China and Greater Eurasia of the Russian Federation. In this work, the author researched the correlation of the Indo-Pacific concept with other initiatives such as “One Belt, One Road” and Greater Eurasia.
