Программа: Design (Bachelor)

Год защиты: 2020

The project is a redesign of a Russian media outlet "Batenka, da vy transformer." It has a website, updated daily, pages on several social networks, and a sizeable editorial office that produces all the texts. The main difference between the self-published “Batenka, da vy transformer” from other media is the absence of restrictions in the topics covered, long-form materials of at least 15 thousand characters each, and a loyal audience who loves the project and is ready to support it. The main goal of my research is to understand how to make the product design more understandable and solve the problems of "Batenka," as well as to create a recognizable visual style without losing the trust of old users. In order to get to know the target audience of “Batenka, da vy transformer,” and to formulate their needs and patterns of behavior, I analyzed professional literature and conducted a series of interviews.
