Representation Of Addictions In Modern Dramaturgy

For the past two decades, world cinema has reflected the main symptom of our time - addiction. The topic of addiction is widely covered in cinema. At present, fashion modern society is associated with drugs and alcohol. The main aim of the paper is to analyze the main principles of constructing dramaturgy in films on this topic, their heroes, influence of cinema on society and perception psychology, formation of public consciousness through representation of dependencies in modern film dramaturgy. The main result of proposed approach is identifying the main features of addictions’ representation in different films. The paper contains two key parts: the first one is the theoretical approach of the study based on the theory of cinematography and dramaturgy as well as principles of representation of addictions through mechanisms of cinematography, and the second contains a detailed description of the research and film reviews. The conclusion contains the main conclusions, and the data obtained in this work can serve as a basis for further research on the topic of representation of psychological phenomena through cinematic works.
