The presented work covers the topic of augmented reality in business and contains a review and analysis of existing best practices of augmented reality applied in various industries. Augmented reality greatly facilitates the perception of the surrounding world and interaction with it. The relevance of this topic is obvious in view of the increased interest of the business community in this technology. The work is an in-depth study of the topic of augmented reality, including its evolution from the 1960s to the present, a variety of types and a wide range of applications in various business sectors. The work provides many examples of the practical application of augmented reality in such important areas as tourism, medicine, education, construction, logistics, etc., including not only international but also Russian experience in using this innovative technology. The material is well illustrated by photographs and drawings, which make it more visual, interesting and easy to understand. The value of the work consists of combining and structuring the available Russian and foreign sources on augmented reality. The work is of interest as a review and analytical tool for the study of augmented reality and its application in business. The novelty of the work is the combination of relevant materials from foreign and Russian sources into a single piece in the form of an illustrated review of the wide-range possibilities and significant potential of augmented reality.
