The largest crisis that occurred in 2008-2009 very quickly acquired a systemic character at the global level; it affected all countries due to the interdependence of financial systems and financial institutions. Risk approaches are also changing. The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has developed new standards for Basel III, which significantly raises and tightens capital requirements for the bank. the crisis dealt a severe blow to the banks ’equity capital and this all led to a shortage of highly liquid assets, some banks went bankrupt, some suffered losses, and went through debt restructuring and debt restructuring. The standards adopted increase the quality of capital making it more transparent, if viewed from the point of view of risks, then the system's resistance to risks increases
