Student: Ermolaeva Yuliana

Supervisor: Vladimir N. Zuev

Faculty: Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs

Educational Programme: World Economy (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2020

In recent decades, the development of international trade has undergone significant transformations, which was facilitated by the development of the IT sector. If previously an important factor in the development of international trade was the development of logistics systems, which directly affected the ability to deliver goods and services to settlements remote from the sea, now the trade is developing in conjunction with several industries. The phase of scientific and technological progress, which is currently focused on digitalization and digital transformation, called the “Fourth Industrial Revolution,” has facilitated the emergence of international trade in the exchange of “digital goods” and services. One of the main goals of the work is to develop a multi-factor econometric model that reflects the relationship between the digitalization processes of the world economy and modern trends in the development of international trade.
