There are many reportages and publications in the mass media about young volunteers, but at the same time, there are not enough materials about their personal motives and arguments to help. According to statistics, nearly 26% of young people of generation Z from 16 to 19 years and older do volunteering regularly. In our diploma «Students’arguments for volunteering work» we talk about the movement of young volunteers who are studying in the first and fourth courses and are engaged in social assistance in the fund «Open Your Eyes». The main aim of our special reportage «Kind with Heart» is to talk about the motives of students-volunteers from Russia, using the examples of our members from the «Open Your Eyes» fund, through interviews with an employee of boarding school for children with peculiarities, a psychologist and the founder of the fund. Our special reportage can be useful for journalists who talk about social issues, charity organizations which want to attract students to volunteer, young people who have prejudies about this activity, as well as future volunteers.
