A visual study is devoted to the analysis of the diversity and the usage of puppet characters on television, their relevance and focus on the audience. The study also includes technology of creating puppets and the specifics of their animation. Choosing this topic, the author was guided by the fact that the study of these aspects will help students of the "Animation" faculty create unique character designs for their cartoons in volume and on the plane.
