Twitter of the President of the United States Donald Trump as a Source of Information for Journalists

The present research focuses on how journalists cover the President of the United States Donald Trump, whose use of Twitter, a popular social network where people are able to post short messages called "tweets," is quite unprecedented for a president of a country and it presents itself as a potential source of information and insights. The first part of the research is dedicated to the analysis of the traditional sources of information in journalism and how they changed and evolved in the current Internet era. It'll also include an analysis of the impact of social networks on society, and the ways how journalists and politicians use social networks. The second part is about how Donald Trump uses Twitter and what new opportunities and challenges does that create for journalists. The third part includes a number of interviews with journalists and experts on how journalists can use Trump's Twitter as a source of information.
