"Look at the screen" is short documentary about digital art, its place in the modern cultural context, its role and perception by viewers and artists. The emergence of new art forms created by digital artists reflects the themes and changes of our time, as well as reveals changing social and communication structures. The hypothesis of the authors of the film was the idea that artists who use digital tools in their work occupy an important place in the structure of contemporary russian art scene. They create a new media language in art that should be studied by both representatives of the professional community and the audience. To understand and accept the emerging and constantly transforming new type of art, digital art, it is necessary to understand the ”new language" of the digital environment. Is there really a special language and how to understand digital art? The answers to these questions are sought by the authors of the film.
