Evaluation of Factors of Competitiveness of Electric Vehieles

Purpose and relevance of research: the research was aimed at assessing the competitiveness factors of electric vehicles. The work was carried out on a relevant topic related to the sharp deterioration of the global environmental situation. In these conditions, the development of environmentally friendly vehicles using alternative energy sources is becoming more and more popular. Such a vehicle is intended to become an electric car. Object of research − the world market of electric vehicles. Subject of research − the development and competitiveness of electric vehicles. Obtained results and their novelty: the theoretical aspects and the available experience in assessing the competitiveness factors of electric vehicles were described; the development of the electric car market was analyzed, its environmental features and development forecasts were revealed; an econometric model of the dependence of the number of electric vehicles and factors affecting their purchase was built, and based on the results of the model, the prospects for the development of this market were highlighted. The author of the work confirms that computational and analytical material presented in it correctly and objectively reflects the state of investigated process, and all the theoretical, methodological and methodical positions and concepts borrowed from literary and other sources are given references to their authors.
