According to experts, Normative Power Europe (NSE) as a concept is not always an effective way of interacting with actors in international relations, since some of them are less susceptible to rethinking their ideas about the norms, and some, on the contrary, are not reluctant towards the EU regulatory approach and ready to transform their policies. At the same time, Georgia, which for some time was not of interest to the EU, both because of its position in the international arena and territorial remoteness, considers itself one of the countries belonging to European civilization, and, therefore, sees itself as one of them and seeks relations in on an equal footing, is one of the most successful cases in the context of NSE. Thus, it is not clear how exactly and through what mechanisms the European Union managed to come to what we can observe in bilateral relations with Georgia.
