This research is devoted to the study of transhumanism. I study the russian, western european intellectual and artistic culture, which embodies the ideological concepts of transhumanism, mainly at the turn of the XX-XXI centuries. The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of the ideology of transhumanism on media and film products. In my research, I study the narrative syntax of Pedro Almodovar's film "the Skin I live in" and how the ideology of transhumanism is embodied in the work of this Director. The research contains two chapters, which are mainly theoretical and practical, respectively. The first chapter is devoted to the history of the origin of transhumanism, as well as a review of scientific and literary literature, in which this word was first mentioned, and the meaning of this ideology is revealed. The second chapter is devoted to the motivational analysis and interpretation of the film language ("narrative syntax») Pedro Almodovar's films "The skin which I live", as well as revealing the theme of transhumanism in other media products (films and TV series). The feature film, which is intended for a wide audience, will help in drawing more precise and in-depth conclusions regarding strategies for the broad popularization of the transhumanist ideology.
