Elaboration and management of a podcast about Russian poetry with Students of the Lyceum of the Higher School of Economics (Creative Format)

“Tyorka (tjɔ:rkə)” is a podcast about Russian poetry. The main concept of the project is to speak about poems in simple language, without complex terms and concepts, and do not impose interpretations. Our main goal is to interest our peers in poetry. My podcast team consists of 2 students from the HSE Lyceum, one of them is 16 years old and the other is 17 years old. In many ways, they determine the tone of voice of our podcast. Our listener might have been interested in poetry, but he doesn’t have a good instrument. And we are to become such a tool. The main idea of “Tyorka” is to turn a dry academic approach into a bright narrative in both confidential and simple, funny way. We have realized that every person shows interest in catchy "forbidden topics", such as sex, money, alcohol, drugs, and so on. And if the listener can also find it in poetry, it will definitely be an amazing combination that will break through this barrier.
