In the last decade right-wing populist parties in Europe have become increasingly popular. Nowadays they have seats in parliaments of many European countries. Moreover, several of them are part of the governments in their respective countries. Therefore, their influence on the political situation in Europe has also increased. The previous research on this topic suggests that they may be able to shape political debate on some topics and change other political parties’ stance on it. This study aims to determine whether one of such parties, namely German right-wing political party Alternative for Germany, made an impact on the political platforms of other German parties. Thus, we will be able to determine whether political views of other political parties on the topic of immigration changed under the influence of this right-wing party.
