This specialized study poses the problem of a player’s perception of his avatar in tabletop role-playing games (hereinafter TTRPG) of the D&D and Pathfinder type and possible improvement of the gaming experience in terms of visualizing such an avatar through a game-type application specially created as part of the diploma project. This study aims to systematize data on dress-up games to facilitate further work on the final project. In order to collect empirical data that contribute to the work on the thesis project, a survey should be conducted among TTRPG players in a form of a short questionnaire, where a separate stated issue should collect the information on user preferences in terms of using mobile and browser applications in the dress-up genre, as well as their wishes aimed at improving the gaming experience in the assembly of the graduation project. Achieved results must be taken into account when formulating the technical task of creating a dress-up game, since it is possible to create the most comfortable and user-friendly application on their basis, which is the main task of the diploma project.
