Design of Public Space Improvement in Borovsk. Lenin Square

Improvement of the central square of the city - square to them. Lenin is a key stage in the renovation of Borovsk, since the square is the center of urban life in every sense: social, cultural and economic. This square has historical significance as a city-forming element around which the city grew and developed. The project offers a solution to the problem of rethinking urban public space in the key of modernity and filling it with a new functional actual program. The project consists of several parts: Visual research: the study, first of all, of the infrastructural components of the area, as well as the study of the cultural and political significance of these public spaces. In the course of the work, the methods of renovation of these public spaces and the features hidden in their spatial arrangement and design — the architectural, political and social aspects of the development of European squares — were studied. Comprehensive analysis of the city of Borovsk. Analysis of the city of Borovsk includes field studies, analysis of official sources and electronic resources. This project presents the main characteristics of the city. As a result of the study, 8 main problems were identified, the solutions of which will be reflected in the project of comprehensive improvement of the city of Borovsk Project program (Lenin Square) The results of a visual study and research of the city of Borovsk are formulated solutions and recommendations for the reconstruction of the main square of the city (Lenin Square), which will be further developed in a comprehensive improvement project. The project of improvement of the city of Borovsk (Lenin Square) As part of the comprehensive improvement of the city of Borovsk, a design project of the square named after Lenin. This public space is a landmark for residents of the city, as well as a center of attraction for tourists. Key design decisions are: - An updated transport and pedestrian scheme; - signal of the lost church; - reconstruction and restoration of facades of significant buildings - identification of a new compositional dominant of the area - Organization of new public spaces for urban recreation and new venues for events
