Development of Descriptive Analysis model for e-Commerce Enterprise Using MS Power BI Platform

This work is devoted to the actual task: information and analytical support for companies working in the field of e-Commerce using modern business analysis tools on the BI applications base (Business Intelligence). The main goal of this work is to develop a descriptive analytics model, that allows E-Business companies to make quick decisions of product promotion based on sales and customer data. In the main part of the work, considered in detail marketing methods and tools for analyzing key operational performance indicators. In addition, special attention is directed to the comparative analysis of the BI solutions market, and considered in more detail the leading MS Power BI platform. The developed model of visual sales analysis is presented on the example of a large international company Olist, which operates in the e-Commerce market and sells goods and services in various regions of Brazil. In the final part of the work, described scenarios and simulation results, and expected business effects of implementing a BI-solution for Olist.
