Design of the Internet of Things Architecture Using the Blockchain Technology

This paper examines the problem of the Internet of Things security. Research gathering shows that existing solutions, based on IoT only, suffer from security issues that could be solved with the use of another technology like Blockchain. The primary objective of this study is to derive an architecture of a Blockchain-based IoT solution able to compete with existing systems and solve security issues of IoT. The paper defines main aspects of the research area, methods of gathering and analyzing data, proposes an architecture for an Internet of Things and an experiment for its estimation.
