The Use of Factor and Cluster Analysis to Identify Indicators Characterizing the Tournament Performances of Players at Different Positions in Cybersport

The purpose of the research is to study statistical indicators, applicable for evaluation of professional cybersportsmen' performances depending on their roles with the usage of factor and cluster analyses. The goal was achieved through literature review, research methods choice justification, data collection, its preparation for the further analyses, analysis of factors and their meaning interpretation, and analysis of cybersportsmen clusters formed by values of factors. As a result of factor analysis, 3 factors were discovered, they are the factor of fightings, the factor of supporting and the factor of improvement. They might be used for the assessment of players, representing different in-game roles. As a result of cluster analysis, 3 categories of players based on factors values were formed.
