Methods of Multi-criteria Analysis in Business Process Management

Business Process Management is a well-known business approach which embraces different management methods and tools in order to derive maximum efficiency over project analysis and control. Due to its general complexity the task of choosing the right system which will fully adjust to project’s own specific characteristics, it is not an easy task to be conducted. Therefore, one should ensure the success of the whole enterprise by using Information Technology tools as Business Process Management Systems. Due to the controversy of the problem, it can be proposed a systematical approach, based on the assistance of Multicriteria Decision analysis, which takes into account the needs of a particular organization, - in our case it is a bank. In this study, the process of clip and all its internal factors. Hence, in order to evaluate our conflicting criteria, taking into consideration two main factors specific to banking sphere: risk costs and profits. In order to illustrate the applicability of this proposal, several cases studies were conducted, together with different IT systems, which provided satisfactory results and evidence that the proposal is appropriate for this kind of problem.
