Modelling and Analysis of the Process of Establishing (Changing) the Level of Tariffs for Freight Railway Transportation

Modelling and analysis of business processes is an effective way to optimize various processes in company. Russian Railways is the major company in Russia that has plenty of various business processes in its activity and one of them is establishing (changing) the level of tariffs for freight railway transportation that is described in official regulations. The purpose of this work is to create a model of the business process described above and analyze the business process. The main methods that will be used in this study are modelling of the process of establishing (changing) the level of tariffs for freight railway transportation and business process analysis. The model of the process will be created according to the ARIS notation of process modeling. Analysis of the process will be carried out in order to find its weak points and optimize the business process.
