The present paper illustrates a proposed investigation of information system (IS) development and its application in the field of sports event analysis. The main purpose of this research is the formulation of suggestions for IS implementation in the sphere of dancesport competitions and prototype development. This work is relevant because at present there is no such analogue in the world, that can be at least a little similar to what will be described here. A lot of athletes from different countries can not access to highly valuable information that can surely affect their future results in the competitions. The expected outcome of the whole investigation includes a set of recommendations of what such IS should be consist of and how they should be implemented in the reality. The results will be presented using different approaches of model and architecture visualization and in addition will be developed a prototype web-application with already implemented methods.
