Progress never stops; widespread digitalization and the development of new technologies cannot ignore the main sectors of the state economy. In pursuit of competitiveness, a high level of reliability and efficiency, electric companies are forced to follow global trends, otherwise, they risk losing their position in the market. One of these trends is Industry 4.0, which can significantly change the situation in industrial markets. In such conditions, an investigation of the impact of Industry 4.0 on the business model of enterprises is considered particularly needed, because Industry 4.0 can completely change the business model. The purpose of this research is precisely to study the impact of Industry 4.0 on an enterprise in the electric power industry and build its new business model,
