Analysis and Modelling of the Structure of Consumer Expenditures of Households in Modern Russia

The concept of standard of living is characterized by a set of indicators, some of which are expressed by the structure and level of consumer spending of households. This study will examine household consumer spending and its structure in modern Russia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and factors of consumer spending by households and to model their structure. This research examines methods and approaches for studying the structure of consumer spending, shows the dynamics of socio-economic factors, and analyzes the structure of food consumption by decile groups. In the work will be carried out cluster analysis for segmentation subjects of the Russian Federation, regression analysis to identify factors affecting consumer spending, the model of panel data to identify factors influencing the cost of food and to build a forecast using the ARIMA model.
