Analysis of the Influence of Factors Characterizing an Artist on his Level of Popularity on Streaming Platforms

This thesis is devoted to the research and analysis of external factors that characterize the artist, which affect the likelihood of his popularity in streaming. First, the music industry and the impact of music streaming on the artist’s popularity were examined. Then, factors, that can affect streaming success rates, were identified and considered. Using methods of mathematical modeling, a model, that can predict the likelihood of an artist’s success, has been created. At the very end there is a descriptive analysis of the results.
