Power Industry Development within the Context of Energy Transition Policy in Germany

Currently, one of the most important topics for Germany is the policy of “Energy Transition”. This study is dedicated to the analysis of the development of German electric power sector and the expansion of the usage of renewable energy in this industry. The main goal of this research is to determine the factors that affect the development of renewable energy in sphere of electricity, particularly that affect the generation of electricity from sustainable resources in German Federal States. To achieve this goal in this research cluster and regression analysis of electricity generation from renewable energy in all German Federal States is conducted.
